This piece is a very special piece to me. In the media there is not much art that is made based on women and their menstrual cycles. The pieces that are made are very gruesome and not very present to look at. With this piece I wanted to pull some history/science into it. With how the moon has a cycle just like women and how they can align. Another piece that I added it the wave, the moon controls the tide. I made the wave a pinkish red to represent the blood that is lost during menstruation. So, using procreate and working in layers I created this piece. I think that I created the message well in this project.
